Margherita Dal Pra approaches her classes with intelligence and humour. Her 20 years of practice and teaching, are based on hatha and trantra yoga tradition. She adapts her classes to all levels of ability, balancing strength and flexibility. Each class revolves around a theme or a particular physical alignment principle giving students a connection to themselves on and off the mat.
Her yoga retreats build from one day to the next, enabling the group to make significant progress in their practice with a toolbox of skills that they can take back home with them. Morning sessions celebrate the warmth of the day, with standing asanas, arm and leg balances, backbending, and inversions. Evening sessions include twists, forward bends and hip-openers. Pranayama and meditation will be spread throughout the sessions. Margherita welcomes all levels. The therapeutic alignment of her work is for anyone who would like to gain a strong foundation for a lifelong practice, and for those who experience chronic pain or limitation of movement in the work.
Margherita’s teachings are a synthesis of Anusara bio-mechanical principles of alignment, along with heart-centered themes and the lineage and depth of knowledge of Tantric Hatha energetics in the Para Yoga style. She will give you: attention to detail (alignment), awareness of breath (pranayama), openness to grace (attitude) and intelligent sequencing (vinyasa krama). Her classes are beautifully sequenced leaving you energised, relaxed and ready to embrace life. She also offers Ayurveda, visualization, meditation and mantra.
She is fully insured with British Wheel of Yoga and a certified RYT500 Yoga Alliance. She mentors teachers in training at Yogacampus Teacher Training diploma course since 2008. She also teaches privately yoga and therapeutics and group classes in London.
